Page Editing

Steps to Create and Edit Page Content

If you are familiar with working on the previous websites, many concepts here will be familiar: adding modules to layout panes by choosing the module type, dragging them into place, copying existing modules from other panes, etc. What will be new is the change to using mostly "Open Content" modules rather than HTML modules.

Navigating to - or Creating a New - Page

DNN provides the "Pages" interface to view your full site map and enable you to navigate to an existing page there to view and edit its properties. That's especially helpful if the page is hidden from the public navigation menu. Once finding the page there, click on the 3 dots next to the page title to choose an action. Or edit the page properties using the tabbed interface in the right column.

Page Layout panes

The default page layout for inner pages includes many page regions into which you can place Open Content modules (or, on rare cases HTML modules). Here are some guidelines and recommendations.
