Display a List of Related Courses, Linked to Outlines

The NH Course List template is designed to display a list of courses, filtered by Vendor (Brand) or Category. You will set the filtering term in the Template Settings. IMPORTANT: The list of courses is limited to courses imported into your site from the LMS, based on your subscription settings. Also, any course to be imported must have franchise-specific pricing set in the LMS.

Guidelines

After adding the Open Content module to the page and selecting the "NH-Course-List" template type, proceed to the Template Settings
In the template settings, change the "List of Courses By:" from "URL" to "Custom Filter"
To display all courses from a particular brand, for example, "Microsoft", or "Cisco", enter that word into the "Manufacturer to filter" field.
To display all courses matching a particular Category term, add that term to the "Category to filter" field. In the example below, we used "Excel". Most courses have a simple product category. You can email support for a list of courses and categories.
To display all courses available in your product catalog, leave the filter fields blank.
Set the desired number of courses per "page" as the "items per page". Users can click through multiple sets of courses in longer paginated lists.
The "Course Detail URL" may be different for your language, but the default should be "/course-outline/courses/".
To add a heading to the list, confirm the heading level you want at the top of the Template Settings, save, and then click "Edit" for the module, and you will be able to enter the Heading text.
